| Simco has recently become aware of an apparent financial fraud that is being perpetrated using the name "SIMCO T. COMPANY" and "AVERY FINANCIAL INC.". The intention appears to be to inform unsuspecting parties that they are winners of a fictitious lottery drawing in Canada and that they are required to make a payment to a Canadian tax officer to collect their winnings. Simco is in no way connected to, a sponsor of, or an issuer of any of these letters. Any checks that may be received are not official or real Simco checks. Simco has never conducted a lottery or drawing or sweepstakes of any kind. We have reported this matter to the local authorities and rely on their expertise to resolve this issue and hopefully take action against those who are illegally using the Simco name. |
